Miles Fawcett founded Urban Alarm with a background as a software developer and leader of one of the earliest developers of cloud-based content management systems. His software expertise led him to address the challenges of managing and growing a security and fire integrator business through software. After confronting the challenges of data silos with fragmented software and exploring the options available at the time, Miles and the team at Urban Alarm started building FieldHub specifically for the industry. Led by industry veterans with backgrounds in software development, FieldHub focused on the industry’s need for modern software and began working on a comprehensive solution.
The result was the creation of a powerful product that reduces redundancy and streamlines workflows. The software handles the complexities of the businesses that employ field technicians, including unique features for managing proposals, installations, maintenance, field operations, inventory, recurring revenue, and financial reporting — with precision.
