What if I want to use FieldHub but do not want to leave QuickBooks?

FieldHub does not have an integration with QuickBooks and there are no plans for this sort of integration. FieldHub fully replaces QuickBooks for all GL accounting, payables, financial reports, etc.

A general ledger accounting system is at the foundation of FieldHub. All functions that impact the company, customer, or project finances generate the appropriate journal entries.

This approach allows us to provide a comprehensive view (e.g., a customer’s total RMR, lifetime revenue, AR, proposal pipeline, etc.) in a single system. Additionally, FieldHub provides functionality that is not native to QuickBooks, including:

  1. Recurring billing automation tied to specific date ranges
  2. Automated calculation and billing of recurring proration
  3. Project WIP and deferred revenue accounting
  4. Deferred recurring billing calculation and automation
  5. Fully integrated inventory accounting and management

If you are not yet ready to leave QuickBooks, FieldHub may not be the best fit for you. Our pilot program will give you and your accounting team the opportunity to fully test FieldHub’s features and workflows.

Some scenarios your team may want to work through in the pilot process include:

  1. Bank data import and reconciliation
  2. Vendor purchase, receive, and return process
  3. Customer install and RMR billing
  4. Customer credit memos
  5. RMR service addition with proration
  6. Vendor payments and check printing
