Yes, FieldHub offers a comprehensive accounting solution that includes Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and Financial Statements. By consolidating these accounting functions within the FieldHub platform, businesses can streamline their financial processes, reduce manual data entry, and gain real-time visibility into their customers and overall financial performance.

FieldHub keeps its books on the accrual basis. Revenue is recorded when it is earned and expenses when they are incurred, not when cash changes hands. There is no cash-basis mode and no cash-basis Profit and Loss. You still see your cash position and cash movement, because the Balance Sheet and the Cash Flow Statement report actual cash by their nature.

What the difference means for a dealer or integrator

Yes. FieldHub values inventory using First In, First Out (FIFO): when a part is issued to a work order or sold, the cost recorded is the cost of the oldest units of that part still in stock. FIFO is the only costing method in FieldHub, so every customer’s cost of goods sold, inventory valuation, and job costing are calculated the same, auditable way.

Why FIFO fits security and low-voltage integrators

FieldHub does not support multiple business entities in a single database. However, you can:

• Log into multiple FieldHub instances (i.e., business units) simultaneously
• Switch seamlessly between business entities
• Take advantage of multi-entity pricing

FieldHub supports a couple of merchant service processors, giving you some choice in the processor and the type of pricing plan you choose. Key to that decision is your selection of flat fee pricing and interchange plus pricing.

Flat fee pricing charges the same percentage and per-transaction fee on every card payment, regardless of the card type used. Whether your customer pays with a basic debit card or a premium rewards credit card, you pay the same rate. This model offers simplicity and predictable billing, making monthly statements easier to understand and budgeting more straightforward.

FieldHub supports a limited number of credit card merchant service and ACH processing partners. You will have a choice of multiple processors, and in some cases, you may use one of our gateway providers and your own processor however, there are monthly and per transaction fees associated with the gateway only solution.
