On March 19th 2025, security installers and integrators gained a new window into how FieldHub’s all-in-one, cloud-based business operations and accounting software works in practice, courtesy of Founder and CEO Miles Fawcett.
Miles joined Kenneth Kirschenbaum, Managing Partner at Kirschenbaum & Kirschenbaum PC, for a live webinar attended by numerous security installation professionals eager to learn more about how FieldHub’s modern platform could benefit their own businesses.
During the demo portion of the webinar, Miles showcased FieldHub’s highly industry-attuned features across a range of business functions, including customer relations management, proposals, field service, recurring revenue and recurring revenue recognition, as well as accounting in general.
Miles highlighted how his own industry experience as a founder of his own alarm company, Urban Alarm, combined with his 25 years in web development, led him to create FieldHub.
The main issue that Miles encountered as an alarm company owner will be familiar to many in the industry to this day; fragmented and unreliable legacy systems.
In response to this frustration, Miles created FieldHub to eliminate data silos and streamline operations for security companies and similar field service organizations.

Perhaps most impressively, FieldHub comes with a fully integrated general ledger accounting system, removing the need for separate accounting software. Miles pointed out that creating this involved a lot of work on FieldHub’s part, but the result is that customers can consolidate their software stack even further with no need for integration in that area.
Miles also took questions from attendees, giving further insights into the details of how FieldHub works at a practical level.
